RKCR to be (Guitar) Heroes
In November 2008 four intrepid travellers from RKCR will be taking part in the NABS Community Challenge in India. They will be undertaking work for Habitat for Humanity, the charity dedicated to the ideal that communities and families in the developing world deserve a simple, decent place to live.

In order to get to Bangalore they aim to raise a minimum of £10,000 over the next few months, and the fundraising has already started. The first event is a Guitar Hero night at the Star of Bethnal Green. Any wannabe Hendrix’s or Brian May’s should head down there from 7pm onwards on 16th July to demonstrate the axe-shredding skills with a big sound system and giant projector screen – winner stays on. They’ll also be a DJ set from Simon Kurrage (Sizedoesn’tmatter) and Mr Shiver (Unsungheroes). If you can’t make the night but would like to donate go to www.justgiving.com/rkcr.

This year marks a first for the awards as they are offering the inaugural Agency of the Year Award. For more information or to enter go to www.kinsalesharks.com
