Reely hard to feature...

Sometimes here at The Reel we get really excited about new Directors and new work that we sadly can't feature for various reasons (copyright, clearance, they just hate us, etc etc - the list goes on but we wont bore you). However... We at The Reel always believe that there is a solution to a problem - and that good work should always be raved about. So we decided to dedicate this weeks feature to new Directors whose work is awesome, but we couldnt feature properly (for whatever reason).... So here we go:

DR SMOOVE

Comedic genius from the man named Dr Smoov. Mashing up old 80’s cartoons and re-dubbing the audio is the order of the day for the Doc, who on more than on occasion had the office in fits of uncontrollable laughter. Authenticity, brilliant humour and sharp editing skills make this guy a one to keep an eye on.

Check out his Youtube channel here for more mirth…

PAUL ROBERTSON

Paul has obviously been raised in arcade full of 16-bit beat-em-ups, manga and heavy metal. Taking the model of a side scrolling beat-em (ala double dragon) Paul weaves his spellbinding pixel anime style with supreme ultraviolence to create these fantastically accomplished shorts.

THE WEEZER REMIX

We already featured the original Weezer promo from the ultra talented Matthew Cullen…
And then the powers that be, go and release a bloody good new remix as well!! So rather than whine and moan… we included this one for your visual and aural pleasure…
